Plant

I took my mic and simply rubbed it against a plant that had little hairs on it. I found this sound so interesting because it sounds nothing like how I collected it. I think it sounds like someone cutting the tape off of a card board box.

Gates-a-shaken'

I placed my mic in the top of a metal post (that's on a metal gate). And then I kicked the gate, which created a funky echo in the metal post.

Glass breaking

I found a broken mirror in a dumpster, I placed the mic in the dumpster and threw a chunk of glass at the broken mirror. The metal dumpster helps kill any background noise so the glass breaking is a clean sound.

airplane flying overhead

As the airplane flew over my head I turned up the sensitivity on the mic to make it sound "stronger," and then I eventually turned the mics all the way down.

Cigarello inhale

While sitting at the picnic table next to the East Tower of Sandburg hall at UWM I recorded my friend lighting and inaheling a cigarello. The recording is only of the inhale and a wierd "squeel" from who knows what?! This occured on Sunday Sept3oth at around 2p.m.
